What We Do
We listen to our clients’ requirements and source the perfect wood flooring that fits both their vision and their pocket. By working directly with the client from our showroom, or even in the comfort of your own home, we can offer very competitive pricing , combined with the personalised service that makes us unique. We can either just supply the wood flooring or can provide a supply and installation service. The choice is yours.
Whether you are a residential client or a commercial client, our approach is tailor made to suit your needs. We will serve you with patience and plenty of choices to consider, but will always be efficient as we all know time is money.
We pride ourselves on our service and always aim to ensure the customer is happy with the floor - you can see that we have won Best of Houzz awards for 2020 and 2021 for Service so you don’t need to just take our word for it!
How We Work
Hummingbird Floors service begins with an initial collaborative briefing discussion where we will consider the type of property, its location, its use, the interior design in general including the style of furniture that will be used in the space. Once we have an idea of the space and what the client requires, we get the ball rolling with a few suggestions and samples and work towards finding the right product at the right price and time frame. In light of the pandemic and the need to be COVID-friendly, we can arrange all initial consultations by phone or video call. We are able to provide advice, product information and pricing remotely and, in the event that you would like to proceed with an order, we can arrange a site visit at that time, abiding by government guidance and strict social distancing protocols of course.
Come and see us. Our showroom can be safely visited if required, however we are happy to provide samples on request so that there is no need to actually visit.

We love the environment and only bring you wood floors that have been sourced with care. All of the timber we use is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC®). And we share their goal: to ensure that forests can meet the needs of today’s generation without compromising those of the future.
Our History
Founder’s Bio / Nanu Patel
Having previously worked in the construction and property industries, I undertook some small property developments. An opportunity arose to become a partner in, and help turn around, a failing flooring retail business which led me to the flooring trade. This is where I honed my skills and then took the opportunity to set up on my own and create Hummingbird. I love the product, love working with customers, and love seeing the projects come to life.
